School “SMART” Goal (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timely): We will increase the % of students reporting not being bullied at school or on the way to/from school from 67% to 83%
Strategic Plan Strategy: Create school-wide structures that intentionally build safe and inclusive learning environments

Action: Implement RULER school-wide to understand the impact of our actions on others emotions

Action: Teach Kindness In The Classroom (KIC) Grades K-5

Timeline: One lesson per week

Action: Teach school-wide lessons focused on empathy through Monday morning announcements & classroom discussions

Timeline: One lesson every 4-6 weeks

Strategic Plan Goal Area 2: Progress On Standards

Strategic Plan Outcome: All students demonstrate progress toward, and achievement, of the standards.
Strategic Plan Measure: Percentage of students in grades 4-5 who got closer to proficiency on OSAS math.
School “SMART” Goal (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timely): We will increase the % of students in grades 4-5 who got closer to proficiency on OSAS Math from 39.4% to 50%.

Available Leading Indicators for this Measure: None. We will use Dreambox to track student growth throughout the year.

Strategic Plan Strategy: Implement strong multi-tiered systems of support for students' academic needs.

Action: Implement Math Interventions Within Classrooms

Timeline:

Small groups focused on math skills are happening twice weekly starting in February.
Lead Person Responsible: Academic Coach supporting classroom teachers.

- 'Building Thinking Classrooms' in Mathematics Classrooms K-12 by Liljedahl.

- Students will make a year of growth toward grade level targets based on the Dreambox Growth Report.

Action: Foster growth in Habits of Mind

Timeline:

After January professional development occurs, teachers will incorporate during math workshop times.

Timeline: During PD days, Staff Meetings and sub release time.
